Buildxact team expands with addition of Tim James to the position of Head of Partnerships & Channels

Tim James, Head of Partnerships & Channels

Today Buildxact announces the appointment of Tim James as Head of Partnerships & Channels. This is another addition to the Buildxact leadership team, following  the recent announcement of Luke Bongiorno as Chief Product Officer. Tim joins Buildxact from MYOB, where he held the position of Partnerships Manager.

Tim brings deep expertise in building partnership networks and he will be building on an existing network of industry and commercial partners including accountants, bookkeepers and business advisors. Partnerships are pivotal to the organisation, enabling Buildxact to reach further into the chosen customer segment.

In turn partners provide additional value to their customers by introducing proven, easy to use business tools to run a more successful business. The appointment of Tim continues the investment by Buildxact into the company’s growth initiatives.

Tim’s background with MYOB means that he joins Buildxact with a keen understanding of the business challenges faced by SME builders and trades. Furthermore, his experience in building strategic partnerships in the franchise and industry association space will be an asset to the organisation.

“Tim is a great, strategic addition to the team,” David Murray, Buildxact’s CEO commented.  “He brings the required experience and knowledge to allow our partner network to prosper. Our partnerships are critical as they complement the Buildxact software offering with additional services our partners provide. These include buying power, consulting services, franchise models and training services.”

When asked about his motivation for the new role Tim said: “I’m passionate about making an impact on our customers through our partners. Technology and the way it can change and enrich our customers lives is what drives me to be successful. Increasingly, our partners focus on how they can use construction software and cloud technology to help their customers simplify processes and be more successful. I can see a massive opportunity for growth with Buildxact.”

Based out of Buildxact’s headquarters in Melbourne, Tim will be focused on expanding the company’s partnership network both nationally and internationally.
